Bernard Wagemann teaches in the field of Corporate Management and Organization at the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm, a neighbor town of Ulm, in Bavaria (Germany).
He started his career working three years in the research company INTERSOFO in Berlin. Afterwards he completed his PhD-thesis in the field of technology impact assessment. After receiving his doctorate he worked 15 years in the chemical-pharmaceutical and the machine tool industry.
In 1997, he became Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm/Germany. Since then, his research activities focus on methods for business environment analysis and as well on strategy decision processes within companies.
Since many years, he prepares and manages the "Mittelstandsforum" (SME-Forum) of the university. This yearly event pursues the objective of exchange between local business managers, town people and university members. The topics focus each year on a selected issue of current relevance for small and medium enterprises.
He is also in charge of the Competence Center of Corporate Management of the university. The competence center holds regularly project seminars in which student groups analyze and develop strategies for the realization and the use of renewable energies and decentral electrification.
